September 2, 20179 yr Lot of ground beef seasoned in skillet with chili powder. Brooks chili hot beans, Rotels chili fixins, tomato sauce, a little water, brooks chili seasoning (getting hard to find). I make it thick, not super hot but a kick, serve in big bowls plenty of saltines, and top with sharp cheddar and jalapeños

You're welcome. :thumb: Yeah, I'm with that. I generally put at least a whole can of Bud (minus a drink or two) in with mine. I simmer it 10 hours if I can help it.

September 4, 20179 yr Tried beer last batch and loved it. Brooks is a definite for me. And if you want hot, crying hot, just add Dave's Insanity Sauce. Made a batch one time. Stopped after 3 bites. My wife, who likes hot, said it was too much.
