I like Mike and Mike too. That is the one show I watch/listen to pretty much every day. I just they think work together. While I like both Golics, I doubt the two of them together will work well.

I guess I don't watch the right daytime shows because I can't think of one instance of them talking politics for any length of time that I've watched.

ESPN has been slower than anyone to keep up with the times because they got fatter than everyone else by having their massive fees added to every basic cable and dish household in the country.

 

Where they royally screwed up is not getting out in front of things and finding digital and streaming options that allowed them to adjust with the market. They said screw it, and were willing to go down with the ship. Titanic is sinking right under their feet...

Disney is not in the habit of losing money and they are fairly ruthless.

Only time I watch ESPN is if one of my favorite teams are playing, or perhaps a big game... otherwise I skip right over that channel. Its garbage. I guess my point is i havent seen anything political on the channel either :lol2:

It's not about being pro-Kaepernick or anti-Kaepernick it's about the fact that I don't want to hear about Colin Kaepernick unless it's about his play on the field.

If ESPN has any semblance left of journalistic values, they can't possibly ignore something of the magnitude of a former starting QB in the Super Bowl doing something like what Kaepernick did. The other networks would eat their lunch over it.

They overpaid for the rights on everything, and forced competing networks to do the same. There's gonna be a big, ugly correction coming when the current round of contracts are up.
