ESPN Cutting Employees Today

Featured Replies

Hard for me to understand how they get rid of him but keep clowns like Dicky V and Jeff Goodman. That guy was absolutely the best in the business when it comes to college basketball coverage.

Is Dan Dickau with ESPN too?

It would be great to be privy to those discussions on who (and why) is being axed.

Well according to @All In they obviously kept too many negroes on staff.

Ed Werder's dog died today.

Bad day for Ed.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Ed will be on a bender this NFL draft weekend.

Dakich? Yeah, he's an ESPN guy.

Yeah him. Who is Dan Dickau? I know that name for some reason. :lol2:

Yeah, definitely not a fan of Dakich but he is polarizing so I see why they kept him.

I hope there is some big legal case that comes up and when they call Roger Cossack to come back for some quick on air analysis he tells them to shove it.

I hate that Katz is gone also, I really like him.

Dickau was the little PG for Gonzaga back when they first started to gain national recognition I believe. :lol2:

Dakich when he's not trying to be a jerk is really good...I don't like him but he's good on CBB.

All the left leaning guys on this board are oblivious to the left leaning that goes on on ESPN nowadays. #shocked

I don't think that's the main reason for their fall from grace, but y'all are not really that blind, are you?

Definitely knows his stuff, and I typically enjoy listening to him call a game, but guy is a grade A horse's backside.

I agree 100%

I was gonna say...I can't be the only one on here that's noticed it.

You're probably right that it had little impact on their fall, but it seems rather obvious to me that it's been going on.

I'm not oblivious to anything. Their left leaning ways is not their downfall and I have stated that since joining this thread. Anyone who thinks that is their downfall is misinformed and biased. I think it is humorous and hilarious that anyone would think they laid off 100 people because they lean to the left.

I knew that I knew that name somehow. :lol2:
