People have been "not smart" for a long time when it comes to certain coaches.

I think today is the day.

School Board meets tonight and if they are going to hire Dudley, then we will know.

It's an exciting time if you love Dudley, or Bell County, or kind of insane drama.

 

 

But seriously, I'm very much interested to see how this plays out. I think it could potentially change the dynamic in both schools, as well as schools around Bell and in their district.

Hiring Dudley will probably be good for the football team, not so much for the Bell Co. School System though.

A good friend and I were at the Mercer Co./Wayne Co. football game last Dec. and ran into Dudley and his wife. My friend ask him if he was going to go back to Bell Co. to coach because he had heard that they were starting a bring back Coach Hilton fund and it was over $100,000. Coach said that did think that there would be enough money for that. Now you and I know that Money talks and other thing walk. But what got me was that his wife said that after he leaves Taylor Co., when ever that would be, that he was not going to coach again. I don't know if that will happen but I wish Coach Hilton the best and if he does go back to Bell then 3A better watch out for Bell in the next few years.

Sounds like the "coach's house is for sale" rumors are true this time.
