Christmas Menu

Featured Replies

My Grandpa on my dad's side was an accountant. He started an accounting firm and had a client back in the 60s who owned the first company in Greater Cincinnati to ever fly seafood fresh from the coast, so Grandpa used to pride himself on Christmas for having shrimp that was only 24 hours from having been caught fresh out of the Gulf.

The Christmas menu varies from year to year, and Grandpa has been gone for 17 years now, but we always have shrimp on Christmas.

Brother and sis in law live down the street. A few years ago started a thing where we alternate and go over to the other house for a little breakfast cheer. As soon as the smoke is coming from the chimney all are welcome. Invited a few friends as well the past couple years. All the breakfast goodies are being torched up right now.

My birthday is Christmas Day and I get a chocolate pie!

Woke up this morning to sausage and egg casserole and home made stollen.
