I think the same arguments were made about KY Basketball during the Tubby - Gillespie - Calipari transition.

 

Why would anyone want to coach there? Same reason they want to coach at KY during round ball season.

Umm...unlimited resources, huge salary for the coach, great weather, great conference, unbelievable facilities, the best HS area in the country to recruit, great TV deal, etc. The real question is what would not make the Texas job popular?

Doesn't Herman have one more game? If so I don't think he would leave until after the regular season. I can see him also wanting to stay to coach them in the bowl game.
