Bracken beat Trimble 76-50.

Russell beat Augusta 72-69. I think that was the final score but it was a good game. Augusta lead most of the game but their inexperience showed at the end with some turnovers. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they played this early.

Taylor Co beats Madisonville North Hopkins 77-52

Boyle County beat Harrison County. I can't remember the final score. The game was never in doubt.

Henderson beat graves today 83-70. Graves did not have their big man. Henderson was up 47-27 at half.

 

That big man (Vogt) makes a ton of difference tho.

Gallatin county beat the crap out of Grant county and KCD today. A ton of improvement from this group.

Bourbon and Villa was pretty tightly contested throughout. Bourbon took the first half and Villa the second.

 

Bracken led Trimble throughout. They won that one pretty handily.

Doesn't Pendleton County scrimmage SK on the 25th?

At the Fern creek Jamboree many good games, but I only was able to see the final game of the night with Fern Creek & Muhlenberg. For a scrimmage they played it pretty much as a game with (4) 8 minute quarters except for starting at 0-0 at each quarter break. Fern Creek won 90-45 showing they are playing well together early. If Muhlenberg is indeed a favorite for the 3rd region that was a pretty impressive showing for the Tigers who shared the ball very well. Chance Moore, Ahmad Price, and Anthony Wales all scored right at 20 points each. Noah McElwain looked very good for Muhlenberg and once Jordan Terry knocks the rust off he will be a very good player. He made several moves in the post that many big man will not be able to defend.

Wrong schedule sorry. I think SK scrimmages on the 23rd against Holy Cross at SK.

Spencer County beat Holy Cross 69-45. Spencer County loaded with young talent.

Bourbon County beat Villa Madonna 51-46

Paris beat Butler County 90-51

Joe Griffin looked good for South running the show. Not a pure point guard like Grant Williams from last years team but penetrates well and has a really good mid-range game. South was missing their best outside shooter but still managed to make quite a few threes. Their defense intensity at the end of each quarter is what really allowed them to win the quarters. Waiting for a few kids to finish up with football which will give them more depth off the bench. Male had lots of turnovers due to pressure defense. Played well when they got into an offensive scheme.
