Mason County is really going to struggle this year. Seems like the whole 10th region top to bottom isn't as strong this year.

I can see that. Lost a BUNCH from last year's 10th-region championship squad.

Any of several teams could win in a watered-down region this time around.

SK beat Holy Cross 41 to 20 they played for 20 minutes. Then SK beat North College Hill I think the score was 23 to 17. HC is playing North College Hill now. SK looked really good.

How did Niece look?

How did Niece look?

Looked good. He played alot.

Pendleton County beat Newport 59-55 last night I am told.

Thanks.

Is that because Cooper is closed for the day?

That was partially it Clyde, but also they did not have one administrator in town to come out for the scrimmages so instead of cancelling or rescheduling they moved it off site.

As far as the scrimmage went Kunkel looked phenomenal early and struggled a little more late but Cooper looked really good in the 3 quarters I watched

GRC vs Johnson Central the #1 ranked team in the 15th region.

Johnson Central 82

GRC 81

Johnson Central led 20 to 17 after the 1st quarter and 34 to 31 at halftime. The Cardinals rallied to tie the game at 51 after 3 quarters. The game went back-and-forth for much of the 4th quarter. Some calls went the wrong way, thus placing the Golden Eagles in a position to win on a last second 3-pointer. From around 30 feet, the buzzer sounded as the rock hit the net to the dismay of the Cardinals. The final score was 82-81 in favor of Johnson Central.

Statistics for the Cardinals are as follows:

Ryan Cooper had 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Will Philpot had 16 points and 6 rebounds.

PJ Williams had 16 points and 1 assist.

JJ Johnson had 14 points and 6 rebounds.

Chase Taylor had 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Jordan Graham had 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Jehdon Jenkins had 2 points and 4 rebounds.

Houston Goodman had 1 point.

Isaiah Noland had 2 rebounds.
