Madison Central is playing Mercer County on Tuesday the 22nd at Madison Central.

Yeah I know, it's the 11th;)

That GRC/West scrimmage at GRC?

Yes it is @ 6:00.

Conner won by 1 I think? Was down double digits and fought back in it, good competitive scrimmage I was told

Holmes at Anderson County, this Saturday Nov. 12th. Varsity plays first, tip off 12:00 noon. JV follows.

Was told Holmes won this one by 3.

Trailed 23-11 at the end of the first qtr with AC hitting five 3's then the Bulldogs locked them up defensively, using their quickness and athleticism to pressure them at both ends. AC didnt make another 3 til late in the 4th qtr.

LJ Miller and Newport transfer Rico Hollis were apparently really good in this one with high point totals.

Was told Holmes played with a lot of energy and effort and will be better than people realize. Will struggle to score at times but very solid defensively because of their ability to pressure the ball and create turnovers.

I didn't get to stay for this one as we were playing in E-town Saturday afternoon, but watched the first quarter and a good portion of the 2nd quarter.

Holmes has some length and can guard the floor when they get after it, which is what they are going to have to do because as you said I think they will struggle to score the ball a lot of nights.

Anderson has a solid starting 5. 6th man is hurt and did not play. After that...:idunno: I think depth is going to hurt them. They have some pretty decent talent in the freshman ranks, but I think they are a year away from really being able to contribute. Need to find a couple of kids on the bench that can step in and fill some minutes. Hopefully a couple will step up and separate themselves and be able to do it.
