All this weeping and gnashing of teeth, over the top hyperbole and unwarranted fear mongering is comedy gold. Some of you are losing it.

Would have been the same if Clinton won dude, minus the rioting. Some of know how to act like adults. Time to grow up.

Lawnboy had asked Pura Vida, who was attending a rally in Louisville, what people doing that thought they were going to accomplish. Understanding that what took place in Louisville was a gathering with no reported incidences of violence and by her account a peaceful gathering, I made an attempt to express why people would come together for such a gathering.

Both sides have merit to what they have to say. Both sides have examples of ignorance. To act as if only one side is capable of embarrassing behavior is to let one's bias blind them from reality.

Previous to election day I've seen some Trump supporters warning of Civil War if they didn't get their way and talking about stocking up on guns, or even assassinating Hillary, so to say if it went the other way around you wouldn't have trouble from them is a stretch. Neither one of us have the benefit to see how it would have gone, but you truly can't say with certainty what you are claiming.

Please be fair in your understanding because I really don't want to start posting videos of not so intelligent or peaceful Trump supporters videos to demonstrate what I am saying, and with the language in some of them I'd risk being banned for having posted them.

Half of this country is happy with the results of the election.

Half of this country are not.

Rationally we must move forward and hope for the best, but those who see this victory as a sign that the majority of the people have spoken need to take notice that "half" does not equate to the majority.

Half is half.

One half seems to be interested in the concerns of their half, while the other half is upset because they were hoping to see a country that is interested in the concerns of all.

Hopefully we see a Donald Trump that is willing to maturely cooperate and try to unify this country. To win this election he had dramatically contributed to the divide. Hopefully that was just all an act to win and that he faces this job with fairness and a rational mind. There is a fear by many that our country has severely screwed up. I sincerely hope that he proves us wrong.

This is the fallacy that got the Dems beat. They talk this message but don't walk this message. Ask the Dems in the Rust Belt that won the election for Trump. If this is what you think the Democratic Party stands for, they have fooled you too my friend.

The Left is only interested in the elites. Period.

If that's your perception, you're free to see it that way.

It's not just me. The Liberal talking heads are reporting this as well. They have actually interviewed the people in these states.

It's a wee bit more than my perception.

Peaceful Protest in Portland is now being called a Riot as bottles and rocks are being hurled at police and businesses.

With half of the country not in support of Trump, I'd venture to say that it's a wee bit less as well.

Let's not forget, half of the country is in support. Neither side should be summarily dismissed.

Agreed.

What is the rally against, a fair election?
