Scott County couldn't resume the game today at home due to Georgetown College using the field.

 

LL offered to host the resumed game but Scott County said no because they are sending their JV and frosh teams to Cincinnati.

 

So per KHSAA rules SC forfeits to Lafayette.

 

I'm assuming the KHSAA told Lafayette coaches that last night since they texted their players after midnight saying they won and to get ready for next week's game.

A forfeit is recorded as 1-0.

This will sure make it a fun game to watch come playoff time!!!

So could Scott Co not figure out how to send the JV & Freshman team to Cincy and the Varsity team to Lexington? I would assume the coaches aren't shared between the JV and Varsity at a school that size and I'm sure they would have plenty of busses available on a Saturday. I really don't see why Scott Co wouldn't have found a way to finish this game.
