Oldbird Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 What makes all of you think Newport isn't worthy of being a top 10 team?
katbird Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 What makes all of you think Newport isn't worthy of being a top 10 team? I personally think they should be before Dixie, Boone, or Conner....
thepeopleschamp Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 SK only looked decent against a bad Seneca team.
CCH86 Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Does it really matter ? Right Now it's Highlands and Cov Cath in AAA Beechwood and NewCath in A And after that it's some really, really bad football how a AAAA school with 700 boys(see: Dixie ) can get their hat handed to them by a single A school I have no Idea, and you know what's funny is by the end of the year after Dixie and Boone beat the tar out of some even more pathetic squads everyone will say "well they never start well and there playing allot better now". Maybe AAAA football is just that embarising in NKY
free thinker Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 1 HHS 2 CCH 3 NCC 4 Beechwood 5 Campbell County 6 Simon Kenton 7 Dixie 8 Ryle 9 Boone 10 HC NCC is not #3. They lose to Ryle, Beechwood and Covcath. Sorry to my Bred friends, but last year is over. It's not 84. It's not 2005. You might be wanting for awhile for another one. There's always the year 2025.

Maybe AAAA football is just that embarising in NKY I don't understand it either....How can these schools with so many more kids keep getting their heads beat in every week by alot smaller schools.. It is excuse after excuse all the time. These players, coaches, and parents need to start looking in the mirror and deciding if this acceptable and start doing something about it. Quite making excuses!!!! :madman:
4thandgoal Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 1. Highlands 2. Covington Catholic 3. Beechwood 4. Campbell County 5. Simon Kenton 6. Ryle 7. Boone 8. Dixie 9. Newport Central Catholic 10. Newport #4 through #8 are pretty even IMO.
NEERFAN Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 1. HHS 2. CCH 3. Beechwood Toss up after that as of now.
letabrotherspeak Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Highlands and Cov Cath are top tier. Then there is a gap after that. Probably Beechwood Ryle Simon Kenton NCC Dixie Holy Cross Campbell County Boone County

Quite making excuses!!!! :madman: Wow, i can't believe you are actually making comments like this. The 1A schools in northern kentucky have decades of tradition that the 4A schools can't compare to. It is not common to have a player from Sk's or Dixie's or Scott's disctict to transfer to a 1A school just to play football. Sure the 4A schools have more boys but the amount of actual atheletes they have to choose from is far fewer than some of the 1A schools. Quality over quantity my friend, quality over quantity....

Lucky Charms Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 1. Highlands 2. CovCath 3. Beechwood 4. Ryle 5. SK 6. NCC After you get out of this top 6 it is a toss up. I'd like to see Ryle keep up the fight, they played a lot better than the score of the GE game indicated. I rated SK up high because everyone else rated them high, but I haven't seen them yet. NCC is going to need more offense otherwise Beechwood will walk right past them. I question Campbell County being in the top 5 because I just don't see them being there in the end, schedule has been weak. Beechwood was impressive against Dixie.
