We will never forget.

Enough said.

No issues. People are soft and beg for something to cry about.

There is a generation of Americans who have been born since that horrible day. They need to be educated for what happened, why it happened and the aftermath of how the world has changed since. The ad wasn't the best of ways to educate and make some profit from the tragedy, the eternal quest for the greenbacks. But I was not offended by it, just not that well thought out by WalMart.

Like Clyde says below, I'm with this line of thinking. Not real well though-out.

I'm with Jim. It's not about people being offended. It's about taste and appearances. Poor decision.

This takes it to a whole worse level.

On the coke advertisement companies have shown American pride in advertisements since the first American Ad probably.

If they had plane going through the towers that would be wrong. I don't see a problem with remembering.

There was a WTC 7 display, but it collapsed on its own.

Not well thought out but not a big deal.

No poll so I will post my votes:

WalMart/Coke display - not offensive

Mattress ad - offensive, stupid, etc.

Question ... are people supposed to start pulling down the towers and flag as they want to buy some low price cases of Coke? Or is the Coke guy reducing his own sales with this display by not allowing people to grab cases that are part of the display? Not offensive, but not very smart either.

Anyone offended by this needs to get a grip on life.

Stop walking around looking to be offended by something.

I'm not seeing an issue with the WalMart thing. People are going to buy coke products. I see it as honoring the people who died that day. Will some one take a 12 pack from the display? Probably but they'd also take it off the shelf as well if the display wasn't there. Coke is going to sell no matter how it's stacked

I have no problem with it (Wal-Mart Coca cola ). I think it's another case of political over correctness if anyone is offended by that

The mattress add, well that was just stupid

The Coke display itself, I don't have a problem with. The location of the rollback pricing...very tacky, in my opinion. Put it at the bottom with the stock that could be sold without ruining the display, and it's fine.

The mattress ad...somebody somewhere should have smacked those three upside their head before this ever aired once. The account rep for the cable/tv station should've said "Hey, I'd love to take your money...but, I'm going to save you a lot of grief by refusing to accept this."

No, those cases used to build the display are empty boxes used just for displays. The only real cases are the lower ones in front of the display.

Coke and Pepsi BEG to put up displays like this. They would have some sort of display of this magnitude up all of the time if they could.

The mattress store had temporarily closed.
