How Many NFL Players Will Take Knees During the Anthem This Week?

Featured Replies

My community is doing fine for real. We do a great job of coexisting despite our many different beliefs. I can't speak for every community on tension and division but I am grateful to live in Boyle County. We make it work even though we know where each other stands.

I think that's what makes it hard and why you see people say racism isn't an issue. To that person in their area of day to day living it's not an issue. Stuff varies a lot throughout this country.

6 Niners and Rams did some form of protest.

Currently watching "Running wild with Bear Grills". Marshawn Lynch is on the show with him and they were sitting around the fire talking and the subject came up of what Marshawn is doing now without football... Well he has started a program for inner city youth, this is how you use the powers you have been blessed with.

ESPN reported last night that there was a group of people behind the 49ers bench screaming at Kaepernick during the anthem, because yeah, screaming at someone during the anthem is so respectful.

But hey at least they were standing, right?

Yeah I saw that too, that's ridiculous to be screaming at Kaepernick during the anthem.

Question... Are the players raising their fists in the air symbolizing the black panthers??

The raised fist (also known as the clenched fist) is a symbol of solidarity and support. It is also used as a salute to express unity, strength, defiance, or resistance. The salute dates back to ancient Assyria as a symbol of resistance in the face of violence.

Maybe it was because it was 9/11, but overall I thought the number of players taking a knee or "protesting" would be much higher.

This is much more disrespectful than what CK is doing, but those bashing him won't see that.

You just probably won't hear from those people on that subject it will just get swept under the rug.

Freedom of Speech, just like freedom to be on a knee.

Freedom of Speech, just like freedom to be on a knee.

So then both are equally disrespectful, correct?
