So they went 3-8 last year (his first not taking GA Tech to a bowl); they still beat FSU. In down years...What UK fans wouldn't take a 3-8/4-7 year where they at least beat Florida or Tennessee?

Absolutely 0 chance he leaves Tech. He's got it made down there. I don't see him leaving or even entertaining the UK job when he legitimately had s chance if decent bowls and a conference championship in most years. He'd be leaving for mediocrity

Wyoming hired him away a couple years ago. If you think Wyoming has made a massive improvement then go hire Craig Bohl at UK. If not then no thanks for Kliemann hopping to the SEC.

Briles or Leach have to be the first two that are called. Unless a Les Miles is fired (I'd rather have the other two anyways) they won't be able to get a name bigger. UK can pay more than what Leach is getting now.
September 12, 201610 yr From my source it is going to happen if things do not get better in a hurry. Pressure is on Mitch to get this fixed. The money ins there for the buy out so the next thing that will happen is a new coach and from what I was told it will not be in the AD's hands to make the hire. Will be a Mike Pratt type. Will this force Mitch out?
September 12, 201610 yr Some of you all are so delusional. Paul Johnson? Are you kidding me? Ga. Tech played in a BCS bowl a few years ago and consistently produces above average teams. Why on earth would you leave an established job like Tech to come to a dead end job like UK. The one guy that they can get though is Art Briles. That is realistic because he is in such a deep PR hole that most schools won't touch him. I personally don't believe Capiluoto would touch him at UK either. But if they establish a win at all cost mentality, they should go after him.
