Guess who was 3-for-5 tonight and is now batting .261. Anyone? Anyone?

Breaking that down monetarily, using their average attendance and the $22 per fan estimate, Portland’s six rainouts cost the team $566,280. The two Tebow games, however, which each drew 3,078 more fans than their average, put an extra $135,432 back in the cash register.

I also think he's hitting over .300 for the month of May so far.

Taking out just the first four games of the year where he went 2 for 13, he is hitting over .280 for the rest of the season.

He's not great but he's not a sham either.

@Randy Parker in the U10 league?

Homer and 3 RBIs tonight. He's 6 for his last 17. Batting .260 on the season.

He’s put a few good weeks together. Putting more balls in play, and driving the ball a little more.

Quit posting his stats. Since you posted this, he has gone 3 for last 19 with 11 strikeouts and back down to .244. You jinxed him.

"Quit posting his stats."

So after 12 years away he seems to be on the improve after a full year of ball? Seems pretty good to me. Hope he continues his recent success.

.225 with 12 HR & 72 RBI is not anywhere close to "pretty good".

His recent streak before the current slump was "pretty good" baseball.

Which is what I said.

Say what you want about him, he put his life on hold to chase a dream. While struggling in the minors, he’s not ready to give up on his dream.

Not much to say. He's got the money to do this and the name that allows him to stay on a team when he should have been released and playing in an independent league a year ago. He's a good guy but he's a bad baseball player.
