Tyler Gaffney, former Patriot, is pursuing baseball again as well. Currently in AA with Altoona.

Tebow has really picked it up the last two weeks. He seems to be getting better.

Maybe by the time he's 45 he may be MLB caliber.

Let's hope :thumb:

Good to hear! :thumb:

He's batting .375 in last 10 games. Currently has 5-game hitting streak and hits in 9 of last 10 games.

I would never bet against Tebow. He has the IT factor.

:puke:

His June numbers were legitimately good.

Yes they are. But it will be interesting to see how things play out the rest of the season. He's still striking out a ton, and his average on balls put in play is unusually high. And he's not showing any power for a guy who strikes out as much as he does. If he does keep things going though, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get called up in September. The Met's are pretty bad, and will be way out it, and could probably use the attendance boost he would bring.

True.

Hmmm he's batting .406 in his last 10 games. At .261 for the season. Haters getting nervous.

I wouldn’t say he is MLB caliber but he has improved this year. I saw he was just named to the all star team and wouldn’t be shocked to see him called up in September to fill some seats. But I saw this tweet showing his improvement:

April .653 OPS - 44.3 K%

May .731 OPS - 37.5 K%

June .812 OPS - 30.0 K%

From jobber to Double A All-Star. Keep hating...

Tim Tebow secures his first career baseball All-Star nod. In 22 games in June, he has compiled a .318 AVG with 7 extra-base hits. In 67 games in his 1st season at Double-A, Tebow has hit .261 with 5 HR and 30 RBI.
