I would love to see him make it to the majors and stick around for a while.

:lol2: He's getting better with each game in my opinion.

Never said he wasn't getting better. He's gotta do it over a longer period of time than two weeks. His biggest issue at this point is simply time. At his age, he's going to have to get a lot better, a lot quicker in order to have any meaningful career at the MLB level.

STLMets

As a STL Cardinals fan, that's just wrong!

Agree

Tebow got another hit tonight. 12-game hitting streak

You and I play in deep fantasy leagues and are sabermatricians. Most people don't know the difference between A ball to AA ball.

Fact is this, he still has not seen advanced pitching. He's facing above average high school pitching right now.

There is NO comparison between above average high school pitching and low level Minor League pitching. Not even remotely close. Above average high school pitchers are not good enough to play at about any level of college.

Over his last 10 games Tebow is hitting .226 with a .250 OBP with 1 HR and 3 RBI.

This is about what he has proven he is to this point. Outside of a couple hot streaks, he's a .220 hitter in A ball, which simply isn't good enough and would get any other 30 year released.

He's batting .300 at St. Lucie

Hitting .314 with a .899 OPS in last 10 games going into last night. 0-3 last night.

Very true but most of those other 30 year olds were playing baseball their whole life still up to that age. So that makes sense to cut any other 30 year old for that.

For him to have not played baseball in over 10 years, and to be able to do this is impressive. Most people after not playing baseball since high school have had transitioned to competitive slow pitch softball tournaments like me lol not minor league baseball.

When is ESPN going to stop providing pitchers to Tebow's opponents? Shirley they can't get away with it much longer.
