They had a day off today. Through July, he has 8 home runs combined and has hit .298 at St. Lucie.

Shocker...

Yes let the hate flow

Good thing Price is managing him, he would have been off about every 4th game.

The High A pitchers have stopped trying to challenge him with fastballs it looks like. Guess they put their ego's in check and started throwing some off speed stuff.

Last 10 games for Tebow.... .132 average with a .154 OBP.

Down to .254 average and .322 OBP in High A for the year.

Overall numbers on the year are .233/.316/.686 with 8 HR and 46 RBI.

Seems the almost daily updates on Tebow have stopped....I wonder why?

Last 10 games: .094 avg with a .171 OBP.

He's now at .234 with a .311 OBP at St. Lucie.

Serious question,

I wonder how many athletes could stop playing a sport for eight or nine years and then pick it up again and come anywhere close to playing even this level?

Very very few, if any.

I want Tebow to succeed. I love the guy. I think he got a raw deal in the NFL. He's simply not very good at baseball. That's not dogging him or rooting for him to fail, it's just stating facts. The numbers don't lie.

I'd guess a decent number of pros that were two sport superstars in high school could hit .200 in A ball.
