I don't see 90 percent either, but perception does matter. The Dems appear united; the GOP is divided. That'll be meaningful on Nov. 8. What also will be interesting is: Will Romney endorse Johnson, as has been rumored? If so, will that open the floodgates? Stay tuned.

Which party is in control? I believe the Republican party has controlled both houses of Congress for the last 6 years.

 

I think that its 4 for both houses.

 

Dems had executive and both houses - including super majority in Senate (ability to do anything) in 2009 and 2010. ACA passed without a single Repub vote.

 

I think Repubs may have gotten house in 2011 and senate in 2013 (from 2010 and 2012 elections).

We must of watched different conventions. If you are saying the party is united. One of the biggest stories of the DNC convention is the Bernie supporters protest both inside and outside the arena.

Dems are much more united than Republicans. Thanks to Trump. The big story ain't the protesters. They're incidental. The big story is that (1) runner-up Bernie endorsed Hillary and runner-up Cruz did not endorse Trump; (2) political heavyweights attended the Dem convention but stayed away from the GOP convention.

Why isn't anyone discussing Hillary's continuing legal battles ? Bill was dis-barred and impeached for lying to congress.. The same charges Hillary will soon be facing.

Bill Clinton agreed to a five-year suspension of his law license as part of the terms to end the Lewinsky scandal dealings. Once that happened, it triggered an automatic suspension of his license to practice before the Supreme Court. He was never actually disbarred.

 

If he wanted to practice in Arkansas again, all he'd have to do is apply (and likely sit for the bar exam again given how long ago this was) and I'd be willing to bet he'd have no problem.

Who else is there to blame it on?How has he acted to limit or stop this?

Do you put any blame on members of congress who said that their number one priority to make Obama a one term president? Those that have refused to even try to work with him? Those that have stalled the process on deciding on the next Supreme Court justice? Like it or not, a president cannot work alone. They deserve less than full credit for "their" accomplishments and less than full blame for "their" failures in office.

I will vote the way I always do it. A race by race decision on which candidate I think is the best. Because I am moderate, especially on social issues, that usually works out to about 70% Democrat and 30% Republican on the votes I cast.

Neither party is unified. It's silly to say otherwise. When I say that I mean the voters.

Because people are very jaded on all these issues. They see 95% of them as political gamesmanship.

 

For example I will give you two that I see as more bologna then actual concerns on Hillary. Number one the whole DNC thing is overblown media hype. Two, Benghazi ... one of the biggest wastes of time and dollars by Congress that I can recall. I believe it should have been investigated but not 6 or 7 times. And at the end of the day I see nothing there that Hillary did that concerns me. There are other things about Hillary that concern me greatly but nothing from Benghazi.

 

The problem for the right on all the Hillary attacks is at some point it starts sounding like the boy who cried wolf and it gets tuned out. It would be much more effective to pick the two most concerning issues and focus all the energy on them

I think everyone must've watched different conventions than I did. Outside of the First Lady and Ivanka Trump's speeches (which were phenomenal), they were both incredibly difficult to watch. Regardless of which one wins, we lose.
