Hillary did a much better job than Trump did. She put some substance in her speech. She reached out to everyone regardless of party affiliation.

 

She laid out her strategy versus Trump ... i.e. I am not going to let him be a bully to me. Every time he throws out one of his patented denigrating comments in a debate or elsewhere, she will respond and call him a bully and say you are not going to get away with it.

 

One big problem for Hillary tonight - that speech was given by Hillary Clinton. No matter what she says, people are going to have trouble trusting her. I don't know how she turns the tide on that perception. My guess is she recognizes she can't change that and focuses on policy and issues, that her track record as a public servant shows she can make her policy happen and use Trump's own antics against him to show he is a lot worse than she is.
