July 22, 201610 yr Week 2 of the conventions. What D list celebrity will the DNC bring in to counter Chachi? Will Bernie supporters disrupt speeches? How many times will we hear "Donald Trump?" Any policy discussion? How will ratings compare to R convention?
July 22, 201610 yr The thing I will be most interested in is Hillary's acceptance speech and contrasting it with Trump's. Based on comments in the RNC thread, I am curious as to what, if any, specifics Hillary will include in her speech. Second, perhaps the key moment in the entire convention will be Bernie's speech Monday night. He and his supporters are going to set the tone for the entire convention - either positive or negative.

Certainly those issues are lingering, but also her Oklahoma real estate issues in the face of her single-minded attacks at banks and their issues, and then her way left mentality that makes her less popular among the moderate middle and the undecideds. Plus, peraonally, I just find her to be unnecessarily bombastic.
July 22, 201610 yr I will say I think Warren's role will (or should) be to bridge the rift between Sanders and Clinton supporters and not as a Trump attacker. I think she's an effective speaker and has credibility with both factions of Democrats. So, I think her role will be reconciler. If she's just going out to rip Trump it will be a total waste. And I really don't think they need to spend much time, if any, on Trump.
