July 31, 201610 yr But 3 or 4 jerks is 3 or 4 too many, it only takes one bad apple to spoil the whole bunch. And I have no desire to return to the wonderful seventies when soldiers returning from Vietnam, ordered there mostly by a Democratic President, and were spit upon and booed as they walked through the airport. Statements from those soldiers broke my heart. And I thought we were done with that type of actions. I had five brothers and I watched my Mother's worry. Boo the war. Don't boo or spit on the soldier whose life is on the line. I'm from a military family and I will always defend our soldiers. I have no problem with reaming the handful who shouted out, just don't use their action to paint the thousands who did show respect.
