I did not know the US surpassed Saudi Arabia in oil production. That is great to know! Regarding fracking, I was not as aware of its effect on oil as I should have been. Where I worked in the oilfield, its main effect has been on natural gas production. Though, I do recall now that it also started a resurgence out in the Northwest--Montana, South and North Dakota, I believe. You were right about fracking's affect on oil production and that this increase lowered the price of gasoline. I love it that technology and investment in oil production has paid off here in the US. I remember when the price of oil reached $8 a barrel and that was not good for the small independent oil company I worked for. Lots of guys got laid off. BUt here is the thing, what you say led to lower prices (and you are right) had very little to do with Barack O'Bama's policy regarding oil and gas. July 30, 201610 yr This was not a kumbaya moment for either convention and they both had to deal with contentious factions. However, from four total state's delegates walking out to the request that security not wear too obvious uniforms on the convention floor to the Philadelphia Police Chief having to make a request of the Democratic Chairperson for a speaker representing law officers lives lost and for the final night's disgraceful and disrespectful actions. I think we all know which side behaved more badly. And these are the same kinds ( if not THE same) of disruptors who have created problems for Trump Rallies all year. How many, you ask, one disrespectful person is too many when a life is put on the line. The post I quoted mentioned "delegates booing" and I wanted to know how extensive it was. I went back and found the clip and it was 3-4 loudmouth jerks shouting out something, I didn't hear any booing on the clip I watched. I did notice an overwhelming silence which means they were respecting the fallen officers. I refuse to condemn a group of thousands over a few jerks. Happens all too often.
