July 15, 201610 yr Give me a milkshake and made by my grandparents. Nostalgia makes it the greatest. Gotta have some Cheeze-Its with it.
July 15, 201610 yr It depends on where I'm at, and what they've got. For shakes, I prefer a good banana or raspberry, and honestly there are times where someone using the syrup has a better shake than someone who uses actual fruit. As to ice cream, if I had to pick just one, it would be hand-cranked, homemade vanilla. Hard to beat that. As for store bought, my go-to favorite was Graeter's Blueberry Pie....until last summer. Vacationed up in Michigan, and had a Toasted Coconut at an ice cream parlor at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. It's made by the Hudsonville Creamery (Michigan), and it was so good I honestly thought quite long about finding a way to ship some down here.
July 15, 201610 yr Shake. Peanut butter & chocolate or Cappuccino. And I was always a huge fan of the "tropical" DQ Blizzard.
July 15, 201610 yr Pineapple milkshake from the dairy bar on route 8 Change to a Peanut Butter from The same locale and you nailed it.
July 15, 201610 yr Chocolate Fat Elvis from DAIRY KASTLE on Eastern Parkway. Best ice cream shop in Germantown, maybe even half the country.
July 16, 201610 yr I love me some ice cream, but I've found it easier to avoid than I thought I would. So I'll say I could live with milkshakes and malts. Preferably a UDF peach shake, but I can roll with peanut butter out of season. If those options are unavailable, I will go with vanilla, but sometimes chocolate.
July 16, 201610 yr I'm basically fan of everything ice cream related. This is tough. But yea...banana milkshake is the way to go. Maybe even banana caramel. If your ever in Owensboro, the Big Dipper has an amazing banana caramel shake.
