June 21, 201610 yr Took a Philosophy class in College - Philosophy of Man Professor spoke on all kinds of boring things in class. No tests. Had to write three papers anytime during the semester. Could write on anything. I remember getting A's on all three but only topic that I wrote on 'What object serves its purpose better? A Man or a rock' I explained how a rock did.

English is the second language and I often have to point to the pictures on the menu in order to order breakfast.
June 22, 201610 yr For me it was blueprint reading at BCTCS. I had been working for 7 years in Hitachi's tool and die shop, switched positions at work and they put me thru the Industrial maintenance program. I only enjoyed it at all because I was able to find a couple errors in the the text book

Spanish is not necessarily required, but a foreign language typically is. I would say it is more for development of the mind versus actually trying to teach you the language. But if given the chance again, I would have taken 4 years of Spanish (or Manderin if offered) and taken it in college as well. To be able to communicate in either of those languages would be a huge advantage. You do realize the Hispanic population is growing at a very fast rate in the US? As for my most useless class. I'd go with Shakespeare. Another mind development type of class but never once used it in real life.
