Great Post. I too would like to wish luck to both teams. If both teams play well than the more exciting of a game it is to watch. Both teams have some big playmakers, Scott Grizzle is a great athlete, and all of us at Ashland know how much a great QB means... Thank you Ian Holbrook. But its looking to be shaping into a very exciting Friday night.

I heard that Snodgrass could have played in the Ironton scrimmage, but theres no reason to rush him out there. And Walters may be able to play some against Raceland, atleast thats what I was told yesterday.

 

 

Oh Happy Days. :banana: It would be great to get these guys back. My only hope is that they will be able to perform at there expected levels and do not make their injuries worse. This report is a lot better than their earlier forecasts. :thumb:

I hope your right about the two starters being able to play and actually they are three starters out.. but so far thats not what I'm hearing, Lacy has the best chance but he did dress the other day and couldn't finish the V lap, and had to go to the showers, he wasn't dressing as of yesterday.. I will be stopping by in a few minutes to see how its going today..

 

one thing you can count on this team will be ready to play..no matter who straps on the helmet and walks out on the field..and if it goes a few weeks these guy will have to win back their spots.. no slackers on this team!

The 3 starters out against Ironon were Walters, Snodgrass, and Brian Salyers(DE,G). Salyers practiced today while Walters and Snodgrass sat out. I believe Walters will practice tomorrow.

Saw the "infamous" Blue Blazer at the Russell scrimmage tonight...Always good to see The Blazer at a Russell event...You need to "come out" & admit that underneath all that orange & black you're still "Devil born/Devil bred" We know the true reason you are there...

I heard that Coach Hart was not happy with practice last night.

 

On a happier note, the field at Putnam Stadium is taking shape. A lot of men worked on it yesterday, mowing, painting yard lines, etc. – getting it ready for Meet the Cats on Thursday and for the season opener Friday night. Painting of the checkerboard end-zones is scheduled for tonight.

According to their fathers, Walters will see very limited action, and Snodgrass is out for 3 more weeks. Get well soon guys!

Really? Because I had a pretty long phone conversation with the BB the other day and thats not what I remember. :sssh:

I guess after what he saw last night he has updated his thinking, might want to call him and get a heads up. Also while you are on the phone--- ask him what he is wearing !!!!!!!! Since you seem so close to him you might want to start dressing like him. HEY if you wore a blue blazer and marron pants - you could be from WEST CARTER..... !!!!!
