I would like to see 8 overtimes. I just don't see it happening.

Heart will win this game. I dont think its going to matter who is injured. How much depth a team has. I think a great player can let down and not play well. The winner of this game will play with their heart. I have seen many teams have awful practices right before a game and win it. I have also seen teams get to full of themselves and lose.

We have had a lot of preseason hype,so I hope this doesn't happen to us.

In case someone has not heard, the Ashland Daily 2006 Football Preview will be out in tomorrows paper. They do a super job of putting this together.

I agree cville, our Rams have had all the pre season hype and the community, faculty and fans are excited. The best advice I could give a Raceland player reading these message boards and hype is to go out and prove it on the field, not only in this game but in every game this season and every practice. Also take care of business in the classroom and off the field outside the classroom. You may not realize it or think that people don't notice you but your actions ( good and bad) are definately noticed by others and you are usually judged on those actions regardless if is fair or not.

As exciting of a game that would be, I think the main thing that seperates these two teams would be the deciding factor, that being Ashlands numbers. But as was stated in another post, Heart means everything, and any team can beat another on any given Friday night.

I also would love to see Raceland win and it does not have to be big. One point will do. Bottom line I think we all have a better chance of getting on the next Space Shuttle flight. Can it happen? Yes of course. Marshall could have a big win over West Virginia also. It ain't going to happen....

No I just think that Ashland is that good. We will see if Raceland can hang with the mighty Tomcats. Maybe they can. I also would love to see Raceland win. If they do I'm wrong. I've been wrong before. Good luck to both teams. Keep in mind Russell does not think that Raceland is not a worthy opponent. Jeepman does.
