I also saw the Blue Blazer at Russell, and yes even thou it is orange and black on the INSIDE it is maroon and gold on the outside where everyone can see. HEY GIAT- I know where he stands to on the Ashland/ Russell game and it is no secret so I will tell. Russell by 24 at your place.

TA- DAH........

Have you heard that it is what's on the inside that counts?;)

He must be human then blood and bone= maroon and white, oh yea and a little gold too, must have a small infection some where. HEY that would explain his behavior !!!!!!

I have figued it out !!!!!!

HE IS TRUE DEVIL !!!!!!!!!

I heard that Coach Hart was not happy with practice last night.

On a happier note, the field at Putnam Stadium is taking shape. A lot of men worked on it yesterday, mowing, painting yard lines, etc. – getting it ready for Meet the Cats on Thursday and for the season opener Friday night. Painting of the checkerboard end-zones is scheduled for tonight.

According to their fathers, Walters will see very limited action, and Snodgrass is out for 3 more weeks. Get well soon guys!

Thanks for the update Greybeard!! I am sure the playing field will be in top form. Kudos to the people that make it look as it does. Many hours of sweat is required and goes unappreciated for the most part.

I hate to see high school kids with an injury. Hope that all is well.

Are the Tomcats deep enough to weather the loss of 2 starters(I'm assuming)? We all know the game is won and lost in the trenches!

What officiating crew has this game?

Ashland 28-7.

Thats a good question. I know one crew that does NOT have this game, but I can find out tonight who has it.

I have no idea but I certainly hope that B. Hall is not on it! :irked: I think that he has given football officiating up though.

Which one did you order? Just check your receipt!:p

The word I got last night was that Walters will dress tonight and if he doesn't have any problems, he will start

Friday night. If you watched the practice last night you know why they were a little upset, but it was a minor thing

but they just kept doing it.. first one guy, then another.. it seem to cure itself after a round of Up- Downs.. LOL

This probity more than anyone needs to know.

Walters is a good tough kid and I know he will do his best to play.but a protruding dish is a serious injury, one that may have life long

persistence if he goes to soon, I've got my fingers crossed that he will be ok.

To the question, is Ashland deep enough to play without Walters.. yes they are, without question, but they are a better team with him on the field

so, we wish him the best, and hope he has healed enough to go full out!

Better? I think the loss of Thomas Tolliver will be HUGE for Raceland.

You can't replace a Thomas Tolliver, Beach had better have his game face on for this one.:fight:

ASHLAND 32

RACELAND 12

You know, it just dawned on me why there is so much support from Devil fans in favor of Ashland. If in fact Raceland wins Friday:eek: and Russell would come in and lose in Putnam, now that would be sort of awful now, wouldn't it?

Can't wait to see the field this Friday. The men who work every week on it do a great job.:thumb:

I was hoping to see the injured back in the lineup. Let's just hope they will be well sooner than later.

I have heard he has had this problem most of his life and it ran in the family.:D

I would love to see Raceland win big. Unfortunately, I just don't see that happening.
