I like to see pitchers hit. It makes for good drama when both teams don't like each other. Seems like only certain pitchers will throw at another pitcher. Most will gladly plunk your best player but will rarely throw anything at the other guy on the hill.

I'm not a baseball dude by any means, but this is exactly how I feel. It's remarkably stupid that they play by different rules in the same league.

 

Either get rid of the DH, or have it in both leagues. I think the correct answer is to have it in both leagues. Nobody cares to see pitchers stand there and waste three pitches.

I'm ok with this one either way. Pitchers batting can be comedic at times, and a DH can put one out of the stadium. I'd say the Reds will provide plenty of the former this summer.

I'm with the DH crowd. No offense to the baseball purists out there, but I would rather watch Papi hit than Bryan Price make a double switch.

One rule I hate is the expanded rosters on September 1. MLB teams fight for wins with 25 players for the first 5 months of the season, then come September 1, they have an unlimited bench and it takes a lot of the managing and handling a roster out of the game. The products that some teams put on the field at the end of the season is a joke and does affect who gets in/out of the playoffs. Why play for 5 months with 25 players, then expand to unlimited for the best time of the season?

There is no valid reason to not have uniformity across the two leagues. If that means adding the DH to the NL, which I wholeheartedly support, fantastic. If it means taking away the DH in the AL, which will never happen, great. It needs to be the same.

It's more convoluted. National League farm teams have the DH.

Both sides will use the DH as a bargaining tool for the next agreement. If the players association wants it in the NL then they will have to give up something else.
