Terrible first half, very good 2nd half.

Excellent 2nd half. Ulis running the point makes all the difference in the world with these Cats, I can't help but remember how bad this team looked a few games earlier without him. Night and day difference with and/or without him. Murray, Lee and Willis all had excellent games. Poythress is another key to how far this Cats team goes, his experience, talent and being a force when he's in the game. Skal .. I don't know about, this kid has all the skills in the world but seems to be afraid of his own shadow. He has to mx it up underneath more and not be intimidated.

Overall good win, on to next week.

I am glad. I watched the first half then left the crib. Looks like I won't have to dust off the underachieving rhetoric just yet.

The Wildcats did as they should and that was post another win, over a decent team.

Really liked the play of Willis and I also thought Mulder gave good minutes the few minutes he was in.

UK ran a 3-man weave out front that produced some easy baskets. I can't recall ever seeing Cal run this before. It worked.

Skal...it is what it is. Very overrated coming in, not his fault. Without question he's been a disappointment. UK has been better without him in the lineup so far. Still has time to get it together though.

Lee really has stepped it up this season. I'm not sure how much he's improved because his time was really limited last season. He has certainly asserted himself as a key player on this team and I love that. Lee is a very likable Wildcat. Cats did what they needed to in the first half.

 

Murray just kept shooting and being aggressive which is what this team needs. I can't wait to see Murray go off one night. It will happen and I hope I am able to watch the game when it does.

Have to realize Lee even though he didnt get much game action. He has gotten a chance to practice against the likes of Julius Randle, Towns and WCS over the last two years. So I definitely think that has helped him improve.

No doubt. He and Poythress just need to make Skal step it up now.

If I read right, Skal has 7 rebounds for 4 games. If that is correct he's a HUGE mistake. You can holler he"ll get better all you want, but if that stat is correct, there is NO, and I mean ABSOLUTELY NO excuse for a 7 foot guy to have so few rebounds.

Skal will be back in a Kentucky uniform next season but he won't see much play with the recruiting class they have signed. He's not NBA ready nor will they take a chance on him at this time.
