If anybody takes him it shows how bad and watered down the NBA is.

The NBA is neither bad nor watered down.

The concern with Skal is his lack of physical strength. Seems to have a weak lower body, gets knocked around even when he's trying to bang. How much he can improve this and how long it takes will determine his draft future. I believe Willis is very important to this team, he may not be the name brand that Cal is used to but seems to be a possible answer to some questions.

Skal will be back in a Kentucky uniform next season but he won't see much play with the recruiting class they have signed. He's not NBA ready nor will they take a chance on him at this time.

I'll be shocked if he's at Kentucky next year.

Poythress put together another really solid game I thought, especially considering how much time he missed in the first half. I'm glad he was able to come back in.

I can't decide where I stand on Willis. I know he has to succeed for this team to succeed, but he has good stretches, then he has stretches that makes you believe he should be a walk-on.

I feel like he rushes his 3 ball too much. Doesn't often have his feet set.

I'm trying to give Willis the benefit of the doubt, while he is an upperclassmen these are his first meaningful minutes and I do see improvement. Just seems like he's going to have to play.

The NBA is as good as it's been in 25 years.

I remember a game around this time last year and Towns fouled out with like 3 points or something really bad. Now, Skal is no Towns, but he will be OK. He has to put on weight and get stronger, PERIOD. That's just going to take time.

I don't think Skal would start over Dakari right now, would he?

Cal rarely benches is high prized recruits...with that said, I think a lot more time on the pine would help Skal some.

Skal needs some of Mrs. S's sausage gravy and biscuits, bad.

Does he drink milk shakes the entire time on the bench? If not, I don't see how that helps.

Will the Woodchopper dress out for the Ohio State game, or later? I'm assuming he is officially enrolled and legal to play. Of course he won't be ready to help for a while due to a need to learn the system, but I'll be thrilled just to see the big guy warm up with the team. Hopefully he'll eventually bring a little extra physicality to the front court.

Milk Shakes don't help with effort and want to as well as Pine time. Yes he needs to get stronger and more weight...in the mean time, he needs to find a motor.
