December 13, 201510 yr Skal will be back in a Kentucky uniform next season but he won't see much play with the recruiting class they have signed. He's not NBA ready nor will they take a chance on him at this time. Hard to believe he is a "project." But it seems that way. He's almost like a soft 2 guard that grew to be 6'11".

I do think he still would be a first round pick tomorrow if the draft happened, even though he has been pretty bad so far.

Philly would grab him but everyone else would likely pass. Or they should pass. Still a lot of time to make up, but he doesn't seem to me to be a plus offensive or defensive player currently. For all the talk of his offense, he hasn't exactly dominated on that end either.

Athletic 6 foot 11 guy who has some range and does have offensive moves. Has he been able to show any of that, not at all. However the NBA does go for guys who have potential and would still take him in first round as of today.
