Sounded like in the update thread that the Jags pretty much dominated this one. Not gonna lie, I thought CCH would go undefeated in the region.

This is great for the region. We have two teams at least that might be Top 20 caliber.

Really, you believe one game means Cov Cath isn't. I am taking that as sarcasm. FYI, I am a Holmes fan and Cov Cath is not on the list of teams I root for. I do know they are good, though.

CCH made it a 13 point game despite awful shooting. I hope this was just a bad game for CCH. Cooper is probably going to be a regional defensive powerhouse. Top 3 maybe?

What yr is Mcneil?

If Cooper can generate points, which has been their Achilles heal the last few years, they will win most of their games. They have been the best, if not, one of the best defensive teams in the region during Sully's tenure.

 

Cov Cath usually can play defense also. Coach R always has them defensively ready.

I heard CCH looked flat out awful tonight. And I heard about them beating GCL teams over the summer so this is obviously a bad game, and I still think Cov Cath will win region. But anyway congrats to Cooper on a big win.

I said in my preview that he was the best all around player in the region...showed it tonight. Kid just flat out gets it done.

 

While I'm surprised at the margin, not surprised Cooper won. This is a very talented Covcath team, but at the end of the day they are still inexperienced outside of CVH and Flood.

 

Covcath will be fine. They have a great coaching staff and a lot of talent to work with to get them where they expect to be come March.

Younger Brother Chris is a stud too.

 

No clue how he played tonight, along with Hendrix and Kunkel, but those three combined with S McNeil give them the best set of guards in the region not only this year, but next year as well, IMO.

I said it in another thread. Sean McNeil was the best player in the gym. CCH had no one that could guard him. They tried several different people on him. It didn't matter, they had no answer for him. McNeil is the best player in the 9th region. Can play big or small, lights out shooter, great passer, and very good rebounder. Gonna be an exciting two more years for Cooper fans to watch him.
