They still won the game. How many passing yards did NL have?

 

According to khsaa stats they threw 3 times for 0 yards which I am assuming it was toward end of game, but regardless they gave up over 300 and barely won at home

I know getting an answer to this is never easy, but for those of us who have to work on Friday, is there any kind of broadcast for this game whether it be Highlands or Pulaski Cty?

 

I know Pulaski's games are carried by an IHearRadio station in Somerset. You should be able to listen there. It is either 97.1 or 93.9 normally. I'm not sure which.

NL played keep away and almost got it done.

So i ask, when Highlands fans say they see improvement do they refer to the eye test? With such a top heavy schedule, it seems like they've either played a "strong" team or "weak" team on paper all year.

 

Is there a team on the schedule for Highlands that people would say is equivalent to Pulaski?

The majority of those yards came in the 1st half I believe. Pulaski responded in the 2nd half which is signs of a good team.

 

North Laurel has a nice rushing attack though.. They had a nice game plan and executed it to perfection in the 1st half.. Total all that with Pulaski offense running only 6 plays allowed them to wear the Pulaski D down. Special team hiccups almost cost the Maroons.

I would say maybe Ryle? They have a very good QB and would have possibly hung with Scott Co. and/or beat them similarly to PC. The Highlands game with Ryle was closer than the score describes, and they have improved greatly since. Cov Cath almost beat Ryle in the first game of the year. Just a guess.

Second or third time that I have seen/heard about special team hiccups. What exactly happened?

I think he Defensive Backs at Bowling Green could outrun him backwards.

 

Looking forward to seeing how both semi state 5A games goes this weekend. I do think that whoever wins it all in 5A better be ready to play or the ring will go to someone else.

Allowed North Laurel to recover two onside kicks which kept the offense off the field the entire first half with the exception of one drive. According to the paper, time of possession for 1st half was NL 22:24, PC only for 1:36. Crazy.

Coaches and ADs on both sides have to agree to the plan to move the game. If PC wanted to play at 7:30 (as scheduled) all they had to do was say so. In all honesty, I would imagine PC is the team who suggested it be moved. IMO people are putting far too big of an emphasis on the drive. I played in tons of games 3-5 hours away from 2004-2007 because no one from NKY would schedule us... Didn't bother any of the players.

Close but actually the chartered jets land at 2 and we wanted to make sure they made it to the game. Sometimes the limos get hung up in the airport traffic. Good thing we got Hebel, Dorherty, Cain, Beal and Kendall's visa renewed in time. The hardest part though was getting their accents to sound American. But the fine folks at Cincinnati Bell call center trainers helped with that,
