Am considering the 5A Double on Friday! Would be cutting it VERY Close to maybe not make kickoff at BG if I did it.

 

My question to Highland fans is what time should I get there to get a decent seat and where is the best place to park so I can hit the road quick? Much appreciated!!!

 

I'm not picking a winner to this one. I think Pulaski is the Champ, so they are the favorite, but the games in Ft Thomas and H is playing CLEARLY better now, so who knows!

The differences I see in the Birds from the first 6 games of the year.

- Kendall has turned into a beast. He hits holes hard and is a threat to hit the house on every touch.

- Hergott has developed confidence and doesn't have to be "the man"

- The WR corp are all healthy and are playing much better. Miller, Cain, Posey are all very good recievers.

-Offensive line are also much improved.

-Defense is flying all over the field aND playing fast like all Highlands teams have always played.

-Daugherty has IMO has shown tremendous SR leadership and his foot is unreal. If the Birds get inside the 35 he has a shot.

-overall they are playing much better as a team and that speaks volumes.

 

My suggestion to Coach W is to use Bo Hebel on the DL in running situations. There is no way PC can block Hebel and Robinson at the same time.

Should be a great game Friday I'm really looking forward to it. I honestly think this will be a 3 pt game either way. I'm going with the home dog.

I think he's talking about Pulaski LB/TE/RB Mason Helton being compared to Daniels in a previous post. Helton is a great football player, I'm really surprised that he isn't getting more attention from college recruiters.

Kid is a beast....I see the talent and skill but the speed Im not sold on. I think the Birds overall team speed shoudnt have a problem tracking him down. The only problem I see is they are not going to tackle him unless they gang tackle him.

Mason played a lot of offense when Riley went down last year. He did come into the game late against North Laurel to put the game away. He can be used in the offense many different ways. However, Pulaski has added depth making it less of a necessity for him to play both ways. He really is a difference maker on the defensive side of the ball, evident in the North Laurel game.

I know getting an answer to this is never easy, but for those of us who have to work on Friday, is there any kind of broadcast for this game whether it be Highlands or Pulaski Cty?

I'm rooting for the Birds just to prevent the Maroons from playing the Purples in the finals? Nobody wants to see that .............folks I don't make this stuff up!

 

It's true from me. 2015 Highlands doesn't scare this BG fan. This group at Pulaski County has always caused concern for me as a BG fan. Of course BG needs to beat Fern Creek first.
