Pretty sure I'm going to attempt the 5A Double today! My first Highlands home game!

I saw Pulaski county play last year. If Pulaski County returned basically everyone from last years team like I think they did. Then I think they are more like Simon Kenton than Ryle. They are a very good football team especially if their qb is healthy.

You keep referring to all these games that happened years ago where those who were participants have already graduated. SK beat Male, SK beat PC 4+ years ago. Seriously, stop. Referencing a game that was played with the current crop of players is fine, but don't go back 4+ years when comparing teams.

Hold up timeout. I didn't realize the same players from a few years ago were still playing? Since past years count? Does that mean SK is not on the same level as really anyone since most peoples team history is alot better than SKs. What about most teams probably having more wins against SK than losses. So I guess SK is not on the same level then since apparently in your eyes what happens in the past shows what will happen now. You don't even seem to realize you hurt yourself with comments like that if you want to talk about past years, because past years is not a pretty thing for SK overall.

 

You act like me saying pulaski is similar to SK this year is a bad thing. I think SK is a dang good team and I expect them to be in the state championship. However if this Pulaski team is the same as last years Pulaski then they are at the same level of this year's SK team. However I haven't seen Pulaski this year, which is why I keep saying if they did return everyone from last years team.

One could assume that the Highlands internet team will be doing the game, but do not know for sure. Go to the Fort Thomas Independent Schools website and then hit the Departments tab and then the Athletics tab. From there you will click on Links and one of the choices will be something 1. Broadcast usually starts 5 minutes or so before kickoff.

 

Highlands website and team sports 1 says they will have the game starting @ 3. I know it will be audio for sure. Might get video also because they usually they put "audio only" when that is the case, and it's not there. Don't let my post stop you from going to the game.

Just think of this way...how many past years was SK a joke in NKY...to you're way of thinking they would never be able to compete because most of the time in the past they sucked compared to Highlands.

 

Teams and programs go up and down...a game played 4, 6 or 8 years ago has no bearing on this game or these teams today.

Both teams are very lucky that Cooper moved to 6a this year. If Highlands wins this game PC should petition to move down to 4a.
