How long has it been since Ashland won a football game in NKY?

Hug win for the Eagles, can honestly say I didn't think they would win after last week. Very happy for Scott High School.

What is #33 name? He was the player I was referencing in my earlier post and why I am even more shocked by the outcome. Nonetheless congrats to Ashland on a great year and good luck to Baker in the Mr. Football voting. Congrats to Scott on a huge win.

Great job Eagles!!!!

O'Bryan played the whole game for Ashland but was a non factor. I really like the way Ashland's RB Brown runs the ball. Very hard runner that's tough to bring down. Baker was obviously still hurt. You could see it when he walked. Should not have been in the game.

 

Scott tackled poorly tonight. They have to tackle better next Friday. Great job by the Eagles for not giving up. They took over the game after the first quarter.

As for Ashland, to say that this is a disappointing ending to their season would be a massive understatement. Started 8-0, then lost 3 of the last 4. Injuries to the best RB in the state and one of the state's premier LBs couldn't have come a worse time. Even as a die hard Red Devil, I feel for the Tomcat team and community tonight. This team was so much better than a 2nd round playoff exit would suggest.

 

This was just an all-around crummy night for the greater Ashland area. The Tomcats, Red Devils, Rams, Eagles, and Musketeers all lost.

Give Scott's staff credit for making the right adjustments when they were down 18-0. Scott did what they needed to do to win the game.

 

It wasn't so much adjustments. It was sticking with the game plan and protecting the football. They never panicked, stuck with what they've done all year. Running the ball and being efficient passing, completing some big passes.

I'm still scratching my head wondering why in the world Love put him in the game.

 

If he were my son, I would be pretty upset. He's not my son and I'm still upset the staff played him while he was obviously still hurt.

I thought Scott did a good job on adjusting the blitz pick up.
