Congrats to Scott on the victory. From reading the prediction thread on this game, I didn't think Scott had a chance. I'm an Ashland fan and Johnson Central fan if that is possible. We will see if Scott can shock another one of my teams next week. Another person not giving Scott respect is Tanner Hesterberg of WYMT TV. He said a possible game they might broadcast next week is the Ashland-Johnson Central game.

I believe Scott had 2 fumbles 1 int & Ashland had 2 fumbles & 3 ints

The two Scott fumbles happened in the first quarter which gave Ashland short fields. I believe Ashland capitalized on both with 2 TD's. In fairness to the Ashland QB, his last interception was in desperation at the end of the game.

Yes they are! That's what happens when you overlook a team, they will smack you in the mouth. Ashland fans can say what they want, the bottom line is that Scott plays next Friday and Ashland is sitting at home.

Turnovers un timely ones along with not being able to get off the field on 3rd down lost Ashland the game. Credit to the Eagles they wanted it more.

 

So Ashland didn't want the game?? Another backhanded compliment. You'll never be able to convince me that Ashland didn't have that much desire to win this game. This game didn't come down to who "wanted it" more. It came down to who played better.

I encourage all of you Scott fans to get to the game early next week for pregame. The Johnson Central kicker is something else to watch. He'll kick 50 yard FG during warmups with about 15-20 yards to spare many times.

So there were a couple that thought Ashland would win easily, and that qualifies as "Ashland talking a good game" ? I'll admit I thought Ashland would win if Baker were able to go, but I, like I believe most Ashland fans, thought Ashland would have their hands full against Scott. Scott didn't go 9-2 and win their district by being a bad team. Please don't let a few fans predictions or thoughts make you believe that Ashland, or most of their fans were disrespecting Scott. I assure you that's not the case. Ashland's history against Northern Kentucky schools would make one a fool to think Ashland would roll.

Well there's one thing about it, Scott won't go unnoticed from here on out. Matney loves to sell his team as the underdog, and from Scott's performance he'll have that ability. He will remind he's team of how they barely beat Ashland and how Scott put up 28 unanswered, then he'll tell them about how they have struggled against NKy teams in the past. It will be us against the world when JC travels to Scott.

 

I would be surprised if JC doesn't play there best game to date. It's gonna be fun to say the least.

A lot of towns have a Dickie Martin doing their radio, they are truely an embarrassment to the community.

 

The older they get the worse it gets. Ours even writes for the local newspaper, where his inaccurate accounts are also put in print.

 

Its a shame to here these guys dog a hs kid because he don't play for your team.
