I can't recall any television ads in recent memory for state reps, senators, governor, etc. that weren't name calling or card stacking so I don't think its just this election cycle that has all the negativity.

 

I'll vote Conway most likely

I have the best tax guy in the world. My tax information is on point. Word.

I consider myself a fairly conservative leaning person, but I must say I am disappointed in both parties. Are these 2 really the best candidates we can find? Really? These guys are horrible! Neither one of them are worth my vote. I will probably wind up voting for one of them, but even though I am a conservative, if Beshear was up for re-election I would't hesitate to vote for him. He hasn't really done all that much, but that is actually what I want out of a governor.

I would have taken Heiner any day over idiot Bevin. Granted, Heiner's campaign was one of the worst I have seen.

 

My point was Heiner cost KY their best option in Mr. Comer. I honestly still believe Conway is a terrible option. That and Drew has no shot.

Heiner gave us the Bevin win. I'm afraid Heiner will be responsible for Governor Conway.

 

As much as I loathe the KY Democratic party they have their :poop: together getting who they consider the best candidate in the general. Never more then token opposition in a primary.

It takes a really good candidate for me to vote for someone with Tea Party support. Bevin is not a good candidate.

Fletcher's problem was he operated exactly like every Democrat Governor before him. R's can't get away with that stuff in KY, not in the governor's office. Not sure why the double standard.

I voted today. As I get out of the car as a song starts. Walk in and go sign my name. One person in the voting machine. They have to use the electronic machine because they already ran out of the paper version by 1:45PM. They were only given 200 copies expecting a small turnout. So I wait about 5 minutes for the one person in the booth to finish. Really lady??? 6 races on the ballot. What could take you so long?? She finally leaves. I vote and get back to the car to hear the end of the song. Gotta love American Pie!

I tried this stunt once in Rowan County. I actually had enough votes to win a race but it didn't matter because I wasn't officially registered prior to the election. I was still constable in the peoples' hearts

I was elected to student council while attending NKU via write in votes. 5 of us voted, I got 6 votes. I was able to vote twice. Had to decline the position. GPA was an issue along with something else I can't remember.
