October 28, 201510 yr Heiner and his own money in the Republican race drew enough to cause a close loss by Comer to Bevins. That's what brought us to where we are in our choices. A ton of Dems were very willing to vote for Comer. Oh well, Bevin is probably the lesser of the evils I guess. I would have taken Heiner any day over idiot Bevin. Granted, Heiner's campaign was one of the worst I have seen.

I'm afraid Heiner will be responsible for Governor Conway. As much as I loathe the KY Democratic party they have their :poop: together getting who they consider the best candidate in the general. Never more then token opposition in a primary. I'll vote for Bevin while holding my nose because he's the only one who has a shot at Conway.

October 28, 201510 yr ...Governors race. I just can't bring myself to do it. I'm a conservative, have an R next to my name on my registration, but I wouldn't trust Bevin any further than I could throw him. Same about Conway, plus I don't agree with his politics in general, and his 100% negative add campaign is horrendous. Drew Curtis isn't taking the election seriously in my mind (wife is his running mate). Why would I vote for him? I'm sorry, but none of these men have done anything to persuade me to give them my vote. So, since I can't bring myself to vote for either of them, I guess I wont cast one for that race. Why don't you trust Bevin? Just curious. I was with him last night, I was voting for him anyway, but he really won me over in person. He will make a great Governor. We can't stand jack Conway as governor, might as well bring obama from Washington when he is finished there!

He has made comments on subjects that I am very familiar with/educated on and he flat out lied/made light of the situation. Most people wouldn't know it, but I do. He also made other comments on those very same subjects that were either lies, or he was completely ignorant of. In either case, both are inexcusable. Personally I think he was lying and most people wouldn't know the difference because I just find it hard to believe he would be ignorant of the subject...but it's possible he was ignorant of it. He has also done a couple of very bizarre things the past few weeks that I won't share here but have knowledge of. Nothing "bad" per se or criminal, nothing like that, just very bizarre and very really somewhat arrogant. In the past I would vote for him because I would not want to give Conway my vote. However I am making a stand here. I'm not going to voter for the better of the lessors...if you haven't done what you need to do to earn my vote in this race, then you won't get it. If he does win then I will pray that he will be an effective leader and we won't have a repeat of the Fletcher administration.
October 28, 201510 yr I can't recall any television ads in recent memory for state reps, senators, governor, etc. that weren't name calling or card stacking so I don't think its just this election cycle that has all the negativity. I'll vote Conway most likely
