People that attend a game and complain about fans that dare to be passionate about the game? The atmosphere at pro and college games is electric, most high school games I have attended have fans that act like they are offended if you, yell, loudly cheer, use cowbells or air horns. I have NEVER understood this. Outside of the student section there seems to be an unwritten rule that doesn't allow for any fans with a passion for the game. Please tell me I am not the only one that sees this!

 

 

This reminds me. I can do without the 1 fan who screams "KILL HIM!!!" everytime there team is on defense.

People who make noise and yell when their team is on offense. Just sit and watch the game, cheer when they get a big play, 1st down or score. Just let them do work.

Something in the rulebook (dont have it in front of me) Defines no set time for "Halftime", however it does state that there must be a 3 minute warm up period after the "Halftime" period. Its also the reason that teams must be on the playing filed by the time the 3 minute warm up period starts, or face a 15 yard penalty. (this is not enforced very well in KY.)

 

Never seen the penalty called, even when teams come in well after the 3:00 clock is running.

Cheerleaders. I am more annoyed by them in basketball but could do without them in football as well.

Umbrellas should also be disallowed.

 

Cheerleaders IMO do not add any value to the game or experience (even though I FULLY appreciate how much time and effort they put in).

 

As a rule I try to NEVER sit by parents of kids on either team.

I concur. As a parent of a former O-lineman, this did bother me. That's why I sat with other O-line parents, or more commonly away from all parents.
