Kentucky 34 Eastern Kentucky 27 OT

I'm tired of hearing the name Drew Barker. Each time he is mentioned, it's a distraction. Towles is the QB.

Thanks Boom Williams for being selfish and being a distraction. Last night was partly on your shoulders. I hope you learn from it and move on.

It was a terrible game for UK but they managed to win and that's all that matters. The play at the end of regulation was terrible but Baker made a play. Kentucky got very lucky.

Well I would suggest you need to stay out of UK threads then because as long as Towles continues his inconsistency and stinks it up most of the game against a team they should win by 21 then you will hear the name Drew Barker.

In looking at UK/Louisville game to me at best it's a toss up. Here why I say that in looking at common opponents Louisville defeated N.C. State 20-13 at N.C. State. 3 weeks ago N.C. State defeated Eastern Kentucky 35-0 at home.

You can't compare games. Kentucky laid an egg and played with no emotion after coming off of some very emotional games. EKU was a trap game. And while the play on the field was disappointing, they still won.

Now they have an off week to regroup and prepare for a huge home game on national TV vs. Auburn.

Why did you leave? Believe me, you were not alone, but you missed the best part of the game. I rolled back into Union at 1:20 in the morning, it was worth staying.

Fair weather fan?

Nope. My buddies I rode with wanted to leave.

While I largely agree with your first paragraph, I would say that there's no such thing as a trap game before your bye week. There is absolutely no excuse ever for any team to be looking two weeks ahead, the Alabamas and Ohio States of the world included.

I hate when that happens. That's why I always try to drive.

Of course there isn't and yet it happens weekly at every level.

I may try and go to another game. Possibly Charlotte. Ticket master is outrageous

EKUs, Jordan Whitfield can lay the wood.

Sometimes young teams don't know how to handle lesser opponents. Younger teams will have a tendency to play to their opponent. That's why you can have this UK team beat Mizzou and USC, yet struggle against EKU.

This game is no different thank when the basketball team plays a team like Columbia last year. On paper it should be a blowout, but in reality, it's a struggle.

$45 is not bad for a SEC college football game. Actually, that's quite good for a single game ticket. Especially for lower bowl seats. You can get $20 seats in the upper bowl. TM is cheaper than getting them from the UK ticket office. I believe I paid $55 for end zone seats last year.

Congrats to the Colonels on a great game plan. Scared the heck out of me in this one.

Forgot to mention the game Chris Kelly had for the Colonels. What a great effort by the former New Cath star.

Had a really nice game and battled HARD.

A little too small, a little too slow, blah blah blah. That kid has some fight in him. He plays that hard every game but I'm sure he had a little extra in the tank for his home state school and their FTH QB.
