Hey, is this the correct list of the current Highlands football coaches?

I have stated to you more than once that the roster is on the KHSAA website and has been for about 2 weeks. I am sure you want "size" of each kid, but I did not have time to measure each and every one of them for you. I guess you are the only one on this website where "size" matters.

wasnt there for the scrimmage... Was Cain covered or not open? Odd that the returning leading receiver to not get any looks. Hoge sure seemed to have confidence in him. Kid has good hands and seems to always get positive YAC. If he wasn't looked to, there is definitely an issue.

So Hebel at 300 and Robinson at 290. Size don't matter?

I have the upmost respect for Highlands . The name and tradition is huge . Here in Nky , they are the team and program everyone strives to one day have the same success . Cooper on the other hand is a Program that has been very well coached and have had early success in the early stages of a program. I would love to see Cooper win this one. It would be great for the program. I think this game will be very close . I think Highlands will win. I think Highlands pulls away in the 4th with it . Birds by 12.

For the record, the field is mowed and its dry(CURRENTLY)! Wet stuff that could dampen the field, normally called rain, is expected EVERYWHERE in NKY the next couple days, so it could be wet come game time.

With all due respect while I appreciate the analysis, everything you have stated is what Cooper has heard over and over again since 2012. Highlands is a great great program and all of the credit and predictions of a blowout, route, massacre, should be and is expected if you base everything on their history. However, if people think this Cooper team won't make this a game for longer than a qtr they obviously haven't been paying attention to the progress that's being made in Union and no, I'm not talking about the "other" team in Union. Again, the Highlands program is the Highlands program but if anyone thinks Cooper doesn't have weapons of their own outside of TCA that MUST be stopped they will be surprised Friday nite. Cooper doesn't have a 100 kids on the team so yes a few play on both sides of the ball but one thing I will agree on is that they are disciplined and they do what they do and stay within the formula that Coach Borchers and staff create that's been working pretty good so far.

How anyone can predict the outcome, yet alone a blowout, of the first game of the season is beyond me. Both teams, like most or all teams, are still trying figure out all the puzzle pieces with the intent on having that solidified come each teams district play. So everyone can keep laying out the predictions since everyone knows BOTH teams so well but I'll remain in the camp of "let's let this thing play out" because it just might be one heck of a game.

I watched every offensive play from the scrimmage on hudl tonight looking for "the issue." It did not appear to exist.

I have a few observations. First, Mitch did not seem to get as many snaps as a lot of the other receivers. Maybe the coaches have faith in him and know what he can do. Second, I was only able to find one play where he was completely open on the sideline. Instead, the ball was thrown to a player farther down field for a longer gain. He generally played in the slot and was taking shots from the outside backer before he broke off his route. The backer then did a very nice job staying with him.

Good to hear. You got to get the ball to a playmaker. No doubt revolving door at receiver during scrimmage, I am sure they know what Mitchell brings so let's chalk that up to scrimmage. Dougherty move to safety or monster certainly was impressive. Richardson also was absent in many series. I guess another player they are comfortable with,Dunn baptism by fire but he is a household favorite so he is going to be big in future plans.
