Does Cooper have kids going both ways or do they platoon? Looking at some film from last year, I thought I saw a couple guys going both ways for Cooper.

Majority is platoon. They do use the twins sometimes as FB's depending on the scheme. Couple linemen go both ways but majority is platoon.

positions for athletes who can play several. Last year when injuries occurred and half the starters on defense were all

oit going into the SK game many of the players who took their place were on offense side of ball. But what do you do when 6 starting defenders are all

out in game 3.

Those predicting a blowout are going to be sorely disappointed. Cooper has a lot of experience returning from a good team and always seem to have a nice defense. I think it's a nail biter the entire way.

That's not taking anything from Cooper if they win, just stating that HHS always get better though out bexause the staff (as good as anyone in the state) teaches from previous experiences and adjusts to what they learn from their kids in each contest. I look for this to be a close game throughout and both teams learning and making improvements from this first game.

I think most teams get better as the season goes on. I know it's been true for Cooper about every year since 2011 in their short history. So don't worry, it isn't an excuse

No, I actually never pay any attention to UKfan predictions as he simply predicts what he wants to happen, not much thought to it. There are other predictions of a HHS blowout in this thread and I simply do not think it will happen. I expect a low scoring game.

This confuses me only because there isn't an ounce of logic behind your prediction. You don't even know anything about either team yet its

I just made the statement I made because you don't even know who is starting etc. that is all.

it very well could be a blowout. But some substance behind the prediction would help. Watching a scrimmage that apparently wasn't the best is throwing darts in the dark.

I seen both teams play before Cooper is not very good but their fans think they are the best. Highlands should do whatever they want and put a running clock on them if they seriously want to be a 5A contender.

 

You used an excuse during 7 on 7's this year against some team about you all having a lot of starters out due to injury for why SK didn't look that good and may have even lost the 7 on 7. Yet you seem to completely ignore how Cooper looked when they had many starters out against SK last year, which is what you have seemed to use to form your opinion on them, correct?

 

This should be a fun game to watch, and is a good first game for both Highlands and Cooper as they both have tough schedules this year.
