None of those people are democrats.

That may be one of the most conservative panels of Republican candidates in my life time.

There are actually a lot of R's I like. After listening last night (and long before), I think a real strong ticket would be Rubio and Fiorina. Not enough people have gotten to see and hear Fiorina and hopefully that will change now. She seems like the smartest person in the room and is very good at articulating her thoughts. That ticket could be very strong in attracting Latinos and women as well, which the R's need.

Hard to argue with this post. I really like Rubio and his delivery.

Kasich is going to be the running mate for whomever eventually gets the nomination. Not quite electable as the front-man IMO, but adding him to a ticket will be a huge benefit for the nominee.

 

A Rubio/Kasich ticket or a Bush/Kasich ticket will play well come next November IMO. Still holding out hope for my man Rand Paul, but that debate was clear that the GOP wants nothing to do with Paul as a Republican.

Agreed. At the end of the spectacle, several candidates were trying to persuade the GOP faithful that they've got the biggest Bible and are at the extreme end on abortion. Such plays well with the Jerry Falwell crowd but ain't a formula for winning in November of '16.

 

I'd also like to know more about Trump's relationship with the Clintons. It certainly isn't adversarial.

As much as I have liked him, he needs to put the breaks on this campaign and focus on retaining his senate seat.

Since you brought it up..............the only people on the extreme end of abortion are the innocents that are slaughtered every day as a form of birth control. As far as being on the extreme end of the abortion debate.............that crown would go to Planned Parenthood and those that fight to the death, and bend over backwards to defend PP and their actions.

Christie making good points on social security.

 

Moving age up two years over 25 year period and taking entitlements from the wealthy.

 

The wealthy Republicans are going to hate it but I thought it was a good plan. At least an idea compared to the crap answers others gave. I don't think Christie will win the nomination but I'd be happy if he did.

Rubio is one smooth cat.

 

His closing speech was great.

If his biggest highlight was his jab about a hug, then he didn't do well in my opinion.

I also don't see how you can give Christie a bump on the exchange with Paul. But like I said in a earlier post that exchange will determine who gets the bump out of the two.

 

I personally thought that Christie dominated the exchange between the two. Being completely open to whom I'm voting for, I feel like Paul did more damage to himself than good.

I think Trump refusing to support the GOP candidate, if it's not him, was very telling. He is basically trying to hijack the election by saying elect me or I will run a third party campaign which will give Clinton the White House.
