August 20, 201511 yr Whoa whoa whoa, my friend. Why would I bring it up if it wasn't be proposed. Trump, Cruz, Paul, Christie , and Walker have all said they support this. So that led to my question. Ignoring whether it could actually ever happen , does coming out and stumping for it to happen hurt the R party when it comes to Latino vote? Of course this stance hurts the GOP's standing among Hispanics, who the past few presidential elections have voted roughly 70-30 Democratic. The question isn't whether such a stance will harm firebrands such as Trump and Cruz. The question is how much collateral damage will this do to centrists such as Jeb and Kasich.
August 20, 201511 yr Can the Rs win the general election by pushing for a repeal of the 14th amendment and saying to Hispanics that a child born in the U.S. to illegal immigrants is NOT a citizen? Does that hurt them with Hispanic citizens?NR has an interesting article on this subject........Birthright Citizenship Not Mandated by Constitution | National Review Online

August 23, 201511 yr I had never heard of "anchor babies" or "sanctuary cities" until Donald Trump got involved. Both are ridiculous and need to be eliminated. Thank goodness there is someone on the campaign trail with testicles other than Hilary.
