July 31, 201511 yr It's tragic this event happened. It's really terrible however officers need to recognize it as such. Be honest about it and be willing to talk to the public when they ask questions. That IMO is how you help improve relations with the public. Relations which are clearly very broken all across the country right now.

July 31, 201511 yr Tensing posted bond and is out. I haven't heard, is he married? Kids, just curious?
July 31, 201511 yr I guess it depends on where you live. Most people in my area get a much lower bond than $1mil for a first offense charge of murder. It's not often that I see a $1 million dollar bond around here. However there are plenty of people arrested for murder or attempted murder Where is "around here?"
July 31, 201511 yr I haven't heard' date=' is he married? Kids, just curious?[/quote'] Single. No kids.
July 31, 201511 yr I read the officer posted bond. Seems likely. If you read any of the 2-3 threads on this subject you would have likely read that.
July 31, 201511 yr So walking across the bridge to the Reds game last night and my wife gets a voicemail on her phone. It's from Channel 5 news (and they addressed her by name so they definitely had the right person), and they were calling to ask her about Officer Tensing. Couldn't figure out why they wanted to talk to her. A little later it dawned on her that about 6 or 7 years ago she went on a date or two with a guy named Ray from Colerain. :lol2: Apparently it was this guy.
July 31, 201511 yr IMO, once the suspect started the car, he had a weapon, the car, and he tried to use it. You are literally going to say anything to try to justify this, aren't you?

July 31, 201511 yr Channel 5 showed frame-by-frame video that showed he he was dead before the car moved.

They knew and she barely remembered. A little creepy that Big Brother can know even the most insignificant things that we've long forgotten.
July 31, 201511 yr IMO, once the suspect started the car, he had a weapon, the car, and he tried to use it.If Tensing was in front of or behind the car and Dubose started the car and floored it trying to either run over or back over Tensing, you'd have a point. That's not what happened. The video showed the shot fired before the car accelerated and Tensing was at the driver side door.

That will be a key point in the trial.
