Yes you do. But we haven't played in 2A all that long. We played in 4A for most of our history.

I know I bleed Purple but I don't care how many returners Pulaski has, I don't see them better than the Purples in 5A. We took care of business on the carpet with them a couple of years ago (although we were stacked). Last year, biggest mud bowl ever we won by two or three scores; in my opinion it would be a lot worse if it were dry.

 

Not trying to start craziness or disrespect but even in a down year (right now!) for the Purples, I don't see Pulaski competing with them. Yes, they have a great class of young men who are having a great run but i think if you look at their wins it puts things back into perspective. Again, no disrespect and I may eat my words.

I don't understand why mayfield fans believe any opinion other than their own is outrageous and that people are constantly bashing their team. I have great respect for the program and just enjoy putting my two cents in the mix.

I'm not sure you can compare the two teams off that game. It was a shame the weather/field was like it was. It was terrible and that's unfortunate.

 

I also believe Hall missed that game for PC with an injury!

I wouldn't have Lexington Catholic as number one. I would have Belfry as the 1 Seed.

My opinion:

 

1A- Seems about right

 

2A- I'd switch Mayfield and DeSales, but otherwise I agree I agree.

 

3A- Really? Lex Cath ahead of both Belfry and Central? What do they have coming to upset the titans of 3A?

 

4A- With Highlands and Cov Cath gone I have no idea. Seems good.

 

5A- I'd put BG above Pulaski, but otherwise I agree. Still, the difference between the top three is wafer thin and I could any of them taking state.

 

6A- Top four are right on the money. Good to see both Trinity and Manual getting there due. I am surprised Lafayette is fifth though.They have the talent, but they've never seemed to make the best use of it before. Shrug, this year could be different, I guess.

All this talk is cheap right now, it is a long season and injuries can play a large part in a season. To put Murray a head of DeSales is one mans opinion. It should be a fun season and good luck to all teams.

Wasn't Pulaski County missing their QB in that game last year? He is a very good QB and is a much better offense with him. Not mention they beat the team in the State Title game that beat Bowling Green last year. If they return most of that team from last year, then Bowling Green may win but it will be a good one.
