Someone come up with some more because I don't see anyone on this list filling the job.

Lofton or Miller?

I'm hearing that interviews will be his coming week. School just finished up the football hiring.

I saw Buddy Biggs in Maysville tonight might be something there. :thumb:

Well, he does have family here.

Maybe so...but I think his wife would be the key factor. Scott Volleyball is the region favorite for probably the next several years, (after making the final 4 this year) with chances to make deep runs in the State Tourney (no chance of beating the top Louisville schools though). She's also been teaching at Scott for at least 10 years. Now in theory, they could split the difference and live somewhere in between giving both of them a 30 some mile commute. I just have a hard time envisioning her leaving the nice gig she has at Scott and a program she has built from the bottom.

I have no inside info on this, just a guess on my part.

Aren't Scott & Mason both in the 10th region? Why would she have to give up her gig at Scott?

IMO if we don't hire Mike Reitz then we are making a mistake. If he really wants to come out of retirement to coach at Mason County then let him have it. The guy can flat out coach.

Same region, but it's almost an hours drive In between the two. That's a lot of late nights for one of them...

forgot about those 2

There are people here still bitter about that. LOL

What was the reason for the 10 days only at PC? I remember when this happened but forgot the reason

Brian Miller would be the best pure basketball choice. He would have kids playing that wouldn't otherwise play. There are kids walking the halls that that are impact players and they'd play for Brian.

I wouldn't be surprised that Reitz had applied. He can coach. Plus being retired, he wouldn't have to worry about anything else other than coaching.

Hearing Tim Haworth has applied. Likes that they've won titles recently and that he doesn't have to compete for players... Is the "biggest" dog in the region most years.

Do they make the grades and stay out of trouble though?, that is all part of it. All schoolsare made up of lots of impact players walking the halls for all sports, always has been. You have to learn plays, be at practice on time always, etc., etc. This is the downfall of many, many kids

I will be surprised if they gave it to a non teacher but they could. I am usually wrong just ask my wife!

Didn't he get the offer from Clark after just 10 days? I could be wrong too.
